Fee Calculation
| Item | Example |
|---|---|
| Listed workflow price | $20.00 |
| Customer pays | $20.00 |
| Creator net amount at 80% | $16.00 |
| Edgaze platform fee at 20% | $4.00 |
Edgaze records gross amount, platform fee amount, and Creator net amount for purchase accounting.
Stripe Processing Fees
Current model
Under the current implementation, Stripe processing fees are part of Edgaze's platform-side economics and are not deducted from the Creator share. The Creator net amount is calculated from the listed price after the Edgaze platform fee, not after Stripe processing fees.
| Item | Example |
|---|---|
| Customer payment | $20.00 |
| Creator net amount | $16.00 |
| Edgaze gross platform fee | $4.00 |
| Stripe processing fees | Handled from Edgaze side under current model |
Future changes
If a separate written agreement or future platform change modifies fee treatment, that agreement or updated policy controls prospectively.
Infrastructure Estimate Is Not a Fee
Infrastructure cost estimates shown during publishing are pricing guidance. They are not an additional automatic deduction from Creator earnings and are not the same as the platform fee.
Read Infrastructure Cost Estimation for details.
Fee Overrides
Edgaze may apply creator-specific fee overrides by written agreement or administrative configuration. Where an override applies, the purchase metadata and accounting records may reflect the overridden platform fee percentage.
Changes
Edgaze may update marketplace fees for future transactions. Existing purchase records remain subject to the fee attribution recorded for those transactions unless corrected for refunds, disputes, fraud, or platform error.
