Fraud and Abuse Policy

How Edgaze detects, reviews, and responds to payment abuse, marketplace manipulation, unsafe workflows, and platform misuse.

Explains how Edgaze responds to fraud, payment abuse, marketplace manipulation, and workflow misuse.
Applies to Users, Creators, Customers.

Overview#

Edgaze protects customers, creators, payment integrity, and hosted workflow infrastructure from fraud and abuse.

This policy works with the Acceptable Use Policy, Chargeback Policy, and Creator Terms.

Review Signals#

Edgaze may review activity involving unusual purchase patterns, excessive refunds, excessive chargebacks, misleading listings, fake accounts, suspicious payout behavior, identity issues, suspicious API usage, abnormal hosted run usage, marketplace manipulation, credential abuse, or policy reports.

Actions Edgaze May Take#

Edgaze may block purchases, delay checkout, restrict runs, require BYOK, hold or reverse earnings, delay payouts, unlist Products, suspend accounts, preserve records, request information, report activity to providers, or cooperate with Stripe, law enforcement, regulators, or affected third parties.

Payment Abuse#

Refund abuse, chargeback abuse, card testing, stolen payment credentials, self-purchasing schemes, payout manipulation, fake sales, collusive purchases, and attempts to route illicit funds are prohibited.

Creator Abuse#

Creators must not publish deceptive Products, manipulate reviews, copy or repackage others' work, promise guaranteed outcomes, hide material limitations, misrepresent provider costs, or sell Products designed to violate law or third-party terms.

Customer Abuse#

Customers must not buy Products for misuse, scrape or redistribute paid access, submit prohibited inputs, share unauthorized access, evade run limits, abuse BYOK systems, or use chargebacks as a substitute for support.

Appeals#

Email [email protected] from the address on your account with the restriction message, relevant transaction or listing IDs, what you believe was incorrect, and any supporting records. Support will acknowledge the request and route it for review. An appeal does not guarantee restoration, especially where fraud, legal risk, processor restrictions, or safety concerns are confirmed.
