Creator Terms

The terms that apply to creators who publish or monetize workflows, prompt products, templates, listings, and hosted product experiences on Edgaze.

Sets the commercial and publishing terms for creators who publish or monetize products on Edgaze.
Applies to Creators, Publishers.
If this policy conflicts with an operational guideline, the more specific policy controls unless the Terms of Service say otherwise.

Overview

These Creator Terms apply when you build, upload, list, publish, sell, or monetize Products on Edgaze. They supplement the Terms of Service.

Creators are independent publishers and sellers of their Products. Edgaze provides platform infrastructure, hosted runtime, marketplace discovery, checkout coordination, creator dashboards, and payout tooling.

Scope

When these terms apply

These Creator Terms apply when you build, upload, list, publish, sell, or monetize Products on Edgaze. They supplement the Terms of Service.

Independent creator relationship

Creators are independent publishers and sellers of their Products. Edgaze provides platform infrastructure, hosted runtime, marketplace discovery, checkout coordination, creator dashboards, and payout tooling.

Creator Responsibilities

You are responsible for your Product claims, pricing, descriptions, category choices, assets, support expectations, workflow behavior, prompt content, examples, demos, screenshots, legality, and quality.

You must not mislead customers about what a Product does, what results it can produce, what credentials it requires, what third-party services it uses, what limitations apply, or whether outcomes are guaranteed.

Rights and Ownership

You must own or have sufficient rights to all prompts, workflow logic, examples, templates, text, screenshots, thumbnails, branding, code, files, data, and other assets you publish.

You must not upload confidential information, third-party trade secrets, copyrighted works, trademarks, likenesses, datasets, or proprietary materials unless you have authorization.

Product Claims and Quality

Accurate listings

Listings must be materially accurate. Do not claim guaranteed income, guaranteed legal outcomes, guaranteed medical results, guaranteed compliance, guaranteed model performance, or guaranteed business results.

Dependency disclosure

If a Product depends on external APIs, paid providers, user-supplied keys, model availability, file formats, manual setup, or limitations, you should disclose those dependencies clearly.

Marketplace Relationship

No guaranteed outcomes

Publication on Edgaze does not guarantee distribution, ranking, featuring, sales, traffic, reviews, customer demand, income, payout timing, or continued listing.

No agency relationship

Edgaze is not your employer, agent, partner, broker, legal representative, tax advisor, financial advisor, fiduciary, or professional services provider.

Fees and Creator Share

Default split

Unless a separate written agreement applies, Edgaze uses an 80/20 marketplace split: the Creator share is 80% of the listed purchase price and the Edgaze platform fee is 20%.

Recorded amounts

The current implementation records gross purchase amount, platform fee amount, and creator net amount for purchases. Stripe processing fees are handled within Edgaze's platform-side economics and are not deducted from the Creator share under the current fee model.

Infrastructure estimates

Infrastructure cost estimates shown at publish time are pricing guidance. They are not a separate automatic deduction from Creator earnings.

Stripe Connect and Payout Eligibility

Onboarding and payout release

Stripe and Stripe Connect provide payment processing, onboarding, verification, and payout rails. You may be able to publish and sell before completing payout onboarding, but payout release depends on Stripe Connect onboarding, verification, eligibility, sanctions checks, fraud review, and platform controls.

Pending-claim earnings

If a buyer purchases before you have completed payout onboarding, Edgaze may record the Creator share as pending-claim earnings. Edgaze may hold eligible proceeds while you complete setup and may transfer eligible pending-claim amounts after onboarding is complete.

Balances are not bank accounts

Payout eligibility is not the same as visible earnings. Creator balances are records used for platform accounting and dashboard display; they are not a bank account, deposit account, stored value account, or money transmission account provided by Edgaze.

Holds, Reversals, and Adjustments

When Edgaze may adjust earnings

Edgaze may hold, reverse, delay, cancel, or adjust Creator earnings for refunds, partial refunds, chargebacks, disputes, fraud, abuse, policy violations, duplicate payments, processor restrictions, legal requests, sanctions issues, platform errors, reconciliation issues, or suspected manipulation.

Post-payout reversals

If a sale is refunded or a dispute is lost, related Creator earnings may be marked refunded, cancelled, reduced, or deducted from available balance. If a reversal occurs after payout, Edgaze may record an offset, debt, reserve, or future balance adjustment where permitted.

Taxes

You are responsible for your own tax obligations arising from Creator activity. Stripe may collect tax or identity information where configured, and Stripe may provide tax reporting where applicable. Edgaze does not provide tax advice.

Third-Party Services

Creators must comply with third-party provider terms, including AI model providers, external APIs, Stripe, and any services used by a workflow. You are responsible for costs, permissions, rate limits, safety rules, and user disclosures for third-party dependencies you choose.

Enforcement and Termination

Enforcement actions

Edgaze may unlist, restrict, demonetize, remove, suspend, or terminate Products or Creator accounts for policy violations, poor marketplace conduct, deceptive listings, IP issues, security risk, payment abuse, abnormal refund or dispute rates, illegal content, unsafe workflows, or legal compliance.

Effects of termination

Termination may result in loss of publishing access, removal of Products, loss of dashboard access, cancellation or reversal of pending earnings, continued retention of records for accounting/legal/security purposes, and continued customer access or revocation decisions as Edgaze determines appropriate.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Edge Platforms, Inc. for claims arising from your Products, Creator Content, listings, claims, assets, workflow behavior, customer promises, third-party API usage, rights violations, tax obligations, payment disputes, or breach of these Creator Terms.
