Creator Guidelines

Practical publishing standards for honest, safe, high-quality Edgaze marketplace products.

Explains practical standards for high-quality, honest, safe, and supportable marketplace listings.
Applies to Creators, Publishers.

Purpose#

The Creator Guidelines explain practical standards for publishing on Edgaze. They are user-facing quality rules that sit alongside the Creator Terms and Acceptable Use Policy.

Listing Honesty#

Your title, description, thumbnail, demos, examples, price, category, and claims must match what the Product actually does. Do not hide required setup, required API keys, external dependencies, important limitations, or known failure modes.

Product Quality#

Products should be usable, coherent, and meaningfully packaged. Avoid empty wrappers, misleading prompt fragments, broken workflows, copied listings, spam listings, or Products that primarily redirect users elsewhere.

Rights and Attribution#

Only publish prompts, assets, screenshots, examples, branding, workflow logic, templates, or data that you own or are allowed to use. Do not imply affiliation with a company, model provider, celebrity, creator, or brand without permission.

Safety#

Do not publish unsafe workflows, scams, malware, credential collection, phishing flows, evasion tools, unlawful surveillance systems, deepfake abuse, regulated advice presented as definitive, or Products designed to violate third-party terms.

Customer Expectations#

If a Product requires BYOK, third-party accounts, paid APIs, manual setup, file formats, or usage limits, disclose that clearly. Do not promise guaranteed outcomes, guaranteed income, guaranteed compliance, or guaranteed model accuracy.

Support and Maintenance#

Creators should monitor Product quality, refund signals, customer reports, broken provider integrations, and misleading claims. Edgaze may review Products with high refund rates, disputes, or abuse reports.

Enforcement#

Edgaze may reject, unlist, edit metadata for safety, demonetize, restrict, or remove Products that violate these Guidelines or undermine marketplace trust.
