What this policy covers#

Creators are responsible for ensuring they have rights to the materials they publish on Edgaze.

Copyright Notices#

Required notice contents#

If you believe content on Edgaze infringes your copyright, send a written notice containing:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
  • Identification of the allegedly infringing material and enough information for Edgaze to locate it, such as URL, creator handle, Edgaze code, listing title, or screenshots.
  • Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement that the information in the notice is accurate.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for the copyright owner.

Where to send notices#

Send to [email protected].

Review and Action#

How Edgaze may respond#

When Edgaze receives a facially valid notice, it may remove or disable access to the material, notify the affected user, request more information, preserve records, suspend publishing privileges, or take other action appropriate to the report.

Incomplete or abusive notices#

Incomplete, inaccurate, abusive, or legally insufficient notices may not be processed.

Counter-Notices#

Required counter-notice contents#

If your content was removed because of a copyright notice and you believe removal was mistaken or authorized, you may submit a counter-notice containing:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the material removed or disabled and where it appeared before removal.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled because of mistake or misidentification.
  • Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement that you consent to jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address, or if outside the United States, any judicial district where Edge Platforms, Inc. may be found.
  • A statement that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original notice or that person's agent.

Restoration process#

Edgaze may forward your counter-notice to the original claimant. If the claimant does not notify Edgaze of a filed court action within the legally required period, Edgaze may restore the material where appropriate.

Repeat Infringers#

Edgaze may terminate or restrict accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyrights or repeatedly submit infringing Products. Repeat infringement may be assessed based on valid notices, court orders, admissions, repeat removals, patterns of conduct, or other evidence.

Trademarks and Other IP#

Non-copyright reports#

Trademark, trade dress, publicity rights, trade secret, counterfeit, and other non-copyright IP reports may be reviewed outside the DMCA process. Include enough detail to identify your rights, the allegedly infringing material, and why the use is unauthorized or misleading.

Marketplace confusion and impersonation#

Edgaze may remove or restrict material that creates marketplace confusion, impersonates another brand, misuses logos, misrepresents affiliation, or violates creator obligations.

Misrepresentation and Abuse#

Submitting false, abusive, or misleading notices or counter-notices may expose you to liability and may result in account or platform restrictions.
