Creator Earnings Guide
How creator earnings accrue, clear, and pay out.
Overview#
Creators earn 80% of their margin on each successful run, rounded down to the nearest cent. Compute charges do not contribute to creator earnings. Failed runs produce no earnings.
Earnings move through three stages: pending, available, and paid.
When you earn#
On each successful buyer run, your share of the margin is credited immediately to your pending balance. This applies whether the buyer funded from wallet or bundle.
Bundle expiry breakage (unused runs after two years) is Edgaze revenue. Creators do not earn on unused bundle runs.
Pending balance#
New earnings land in pending. Pending is not yet withdrawable. If a refund is approved against a sale that has not cleared, the reversal applies to pending first.
Clearing to available#
After seven calendar days, cleared earnings move from pending to available. Available is the balance you can withdraw.
Payouts#
Automatic weekly payout runs when your available balance reaches at least $25. Smaller balances remain available until the floor is met. Completed transfers appear in payout history with Stripe identifiers.
See Payout System for Connect onboarding and transfer details.
Special cases#
- Failed or cancelled run: No earnings for that run.
- Killed run: No margin earnings. The buyer may still be charged for partial compute.
- Composed child run: Each child workflow creator earns on their own margin independently.
- Demo or builder test runs: No earnings.
