# Pricing Limits

> Minimum and maximum price rules for prompt products and per-run workflow margin on Edgaze.

## Overview

Creators set product prices within platform-enforced limits. Pricing limits reduce spam listings, avoid extreme marketplace pricing, improve customer trust, and keep the hosted AI product marketplace legible.

Workflow per-run listings use a **creator margin** range; buyer displayed price adds compute estimated at the input envelope maximum. Read [Publish and Price](/docs/billing/publish-and-price) and the [Billing guides](/docs/billing).

## Current Price Ranges

| Product Type | What is limited | Minimum | Maximum |
| ----------------- | ---------------------- | ------: | ------: |
| Prompt products | Listing / unlock price | $3 | $50 |
| Workflow products | Per-run creator margin | $5 | $150 |

Prices are currently set in USD.

## Prompt Products

Prompt listing prices must be between **$3** and **$50**. Checkout validation enforces the minimum transaction amount. The listed price is what buyers pay for prompt product access through Edgaze.

## Workflow Products

Workflow **creator margin** must be between **$5** and **$150** per run. The buyer's displayed per-run price equals margin plus compute displayed (estimated at envelope max). Compute displayed is not subject to the $150 margin cap; only the creator-set margin is.

Edgaze may show infrastructure cost estimates as pricing guidance during publish. Estimates do not automatically raise the enforced margin minimum and are not deducted from creator earnings.

## Why Limits Exist

Pricing limits reduce spam listings, avoid extreme marketplace pricing, improve customer trust, and keep the hosted AI product marketplace legible.

## Changes

Edgaze may change pricing limits for future listings, future purchases, categories, creator tiers, or special programs. Existing products may be grandfathered, required to update, or restricted depending on the change.
